GENERAL QUESTIONS

MINIMUM ORDER

TERMS
  • Current Accounts: Net 30 (this is an option at check out if ordering online)
  • New Accounts: The first order is pre-pay by credit card (Visa, MC or Amex). New accounts are welcome to submit a credit sheet to establish an open account for subsequent orders.
  • International Accounts: All orders are pre-pay by bank wire transfer or credit card. We will email you a proforma invoice to assist you in arranging payment once the order is ready to ship. If you wish to pay via wire transfer, please select the "Net 30" payment option at check out and we will contact you with a proforma invoice and wire transfer instructions once the order is ready to ship.

    • Domestic (excludes AK & HI) orders ship via FedEx Ground
    • International orders (includes AK & HI) ship via Priority Mail with the USPS

    We are happy to accommodate any special shipping requests. When placing your order online, there is a notes section where you can note any special shipping requests.

    PACKAGING
    • Counter cards come packaged in an acetate sleeve to protect the card and envelope. On the back of most of our acetate sleeves the story of our company and how the cards are made is printed to educate customers on what makes a Paula Skene card unique. If the card is greeted a sticker on the top right corner of the sleeve will denote the greeting. Our cards are not pre-priced or bar coded, but we do provide pre-ticketing for customers who provide price tickets. 
    • Boxed notes come packaged in a box of 8 cards & envelopes with a blurb included in the box sharing the story of our company and how the cards are made.
    • Enclosure cards come packaged in a box of 6 cards & envelopes with a blurb included in the box sharing the story of our company and how the cards are made.
    WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    All wholesale orders are firm sale and items can not be returned. If we make an error in filling your order by sending the wrong item, or product arrives damaged, please let us know and we will promptly correct the mistake.

    DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORK?

    Yes, having our design studio and presses in-house gives us the ability and flexibility to do incredible work. We’ have done personalized corporate holiday cards, annual report covers, stationery sets, etc. for a variety companies, museums, organizations and individuals. We often hear from our customers that our cards are so beautiful that they save or even frame them. Companies that send our cards stay in front of their customers. Sending a Paula Skene card is an elegant, efficient way to make a lasting impression.  To learn more about custom work please see the custom section of our website.

    SHIPPING

    WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

    All orders ship from our Emeryville, CA studio.  Emeryville is in the San Francisco Bay Area nestled between Berkeley and Oakland.

    HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO SHIP?

    We do our best to be speedy; most orders ship within 1 week of being placed.

    DO YOU SHIP TO PO BOXES?

    Yes

    DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    International orders are shipped via Priority Mail or FedEx. For international orders we will contact you once the order has been placed with the exact shipping costs. Please note international orders generally take between 2 – 4 weeks to arrive. Please check with your local customs office about rules and regulations that may apply to you.

    WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

    We offer three shipping methods:

    - Standard Ground (5 – 7 business days)

    - Express Saver (3 business days)

    - Overnight (1 business day)

    HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

    This will depend on what your order and where you store is located. Shipping costs for the average domestic order are between $10 and $15, while most shipping charges for international orders average between 5% to 10% of the order value.

    Shipping charges will not appear at checkout, but will be billed at cost when your order ships.
